Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 June 2026
Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by The Dry Shield ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client"). By requesting an inspection, accepting a quotation or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide waterproofing, damp proofing, structural repair, restoration and allied civil and painting works as described in the quotation issued for your project. The scope of any engagement is defined by the accepted written quotation.
Quotations and pricing
Quotations are based on the site conditions observed at inspection and the information you provide. They remain valid for the period stated on the quotation. Where concealed conditions are discovered during work that materially change the scope, we will inform you and agree any revised cost in writing before proceeding.
Site inspections
Initial site inspections are provided free of charge and without obligation. The findings represent our professional assessment based on accessible areas; areas that cannot be safely accessed or are concealed may not be fully assessable.
Payment terms
Payment terms, including any advance, stage payments and final balance, are set out in your quotation or work order. Invoices are payable within the period stated. We reserve the right to suspend works where due payments are outstanding.
Scheduling and site access
You agree to provide safe, timely and unobstructed access to the work areas, along with reasonable access to water and electricity where required. Delays caused by lack of access, or by weather where work is weather-dependent, may affect the schedule.
Warranty
Eligible works carry a written warranty. The scope, duration and conditions of cover are set out in our Warranty and on the warranty certificate issued on completion.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the property and the problem
- Obtain any society, landlord or statutory permissions required for the works
- Keep the work area clear and accessible during the project
- Follow any care or curing guidance provided on handover
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the services is limited to the value of the works performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Cancellation
You may cancel a confirmed engagement by written notice. Where materials have been ordered or works commenced, reasonable costs incurred up to the point of cancellation may be charged.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, graphics, layout and design — is owned by or licensed to The Dry Shield and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [city/jurisdiction to be confirmed].
