These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by The Dry Shield ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client"). By requesting an inspection, accepting a quotation or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
We provide waterproofing, damp proofing, structural repair, restoration and allied civil and painting works as described in the quotation issued for your project. The scope of any engagement is defined by the accepted written quotation.
Quotations are based on the site conditions observed at inspection and the information you provide. They remain valid for the period stated on the quotation. Where concealed defects or conditions not visible at inspection are discovered during work, we will notify you and agree any variation in writing before proceeding.
Free site inspections are provided without obligation. We will attend at the agreed time; please ensure that access to the affected areas is available. We reserve the right to reschedule if access is not possible.
Payment terms are stated on your quotation. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit is payable on acceptance of the quotation, with the balance due on completion. We reserve the right to suspend work where agreed payments are overdue.
Agreed start dates are subject to weather conditions and materials availability. You are responsible for ensuring clear, safe access to the work area for the duration of the project.
Where a written warranty is issued, its terms are set out on the warranty certificate. The warranty applies to the specific works described and is subject to the conditions stated on the certificate.
You are responsible for notifying us of any pre-existing structural conditions, hazardous materials or constraints not apparent at inspection. Failure to do so may affect the validity of any warranty issued.
Our liability is limited to the value of the contract for the affected works. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You may cancel an accepted quotation by written notice before work commences. We reserve the right to charge for site visits and materials ordered prior to cancellation.
All photographs, reports and documents we produce remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
