Eligible waterproofing works carried out by The Dry Shield are covered by a written warranty of up to five (5) years from the date of completion and handover, on the terms set out below and on your warranty certificate.
Failure of the waterproofing system we installed that results in water leakage, under normal use. Defects in our workmanship on the warranted scope. Re-treatment or rectification of the affected area at no cost to you during the warranty period.
Areas or works not included in the warranted scope. Damage caused by structural movement, new construction, or alterations by others. Damage from external factors — natural disasters, accidents, vandalism or misuse. Pre-existing defects or issues outside the treatment area. Failure resulting from lack of routine maintenance.
The warranty period begins on the date of completion and handover as stated on your warranty certificate. The certificate sets out the exact scope and duration for your project.
To make a claim, contact us in writing at online@thedryshield.com with your name, project address, warranty certificate number and a description of the issue. We will arrange a site visit to assess the claim.
The warranty is issued to the original client named on the certificate. Transfer to a subsequent property owner may be arranged by written request; contact us for details.
The warranty is void if the warranted works are altered, repaired or interfered with by any party other than The Dry Shield without our written consent, or if the conditions stated on the certificate are not met.
Our liability under this warranty is limited to rectification of the warranted works. We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses arising from a warranty event. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
